The SRVA C/B/BB+ meet entries open at 12:00am on Sunday 9/16. Make sure you register quickly as this meet is the fastest closing meet we will attend this fall and could close within the first 24-48 hours.

Coach Todd and Coach Danny will be leading a mandatory parent meeting from 6-7pm on Tuesday 9/18 at the pool. Please let us know if you cannot make it for some reason. We will go over important information about the team and the Fall Season and beyond.

For those of you new to the team, Ruby Hill Aquatics participated in three end of season meets. US 66 Phillips National Championship in Irvine, the Western Zone Championships in Clovis, and the Fred Seigrist Memorial Summer Classic in Pleasant Hill.

US 66 Phillips National Championships:

Jonah Cooper represented us at this meet competing against the best swimmers our country has to offer including past Olympians. This meet was held in Irvine, CA. Jonah competed in the 100 Fly, 100 Free, 50/100/200 Back. He had a very strong performance earning new lifetime best in four of his five races. His best race of the meet was his 50 Backstroke where he dropped over 1.5 seconds and finaled in the event getting to swim under the bright lights at Nationals.
Congratulations Jonah on a great meet and being our programs first ever swimmer to represent us at the national level.

Western Zone Championships:

Emma Washam finished her long course season with a tremendous performance at the Western Zone Senior Championship Meet held in Clovis, Ca. This meet features Senior swimmers from the all over the Western United States. Teams from New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, California and Washington all competed in this trials/finals meet format.
Emma qualified for this meet in the 200/400/800/1500 Freestyle events. Her performances in both the 400 and 1500 Freestyle were terrific dropping over 10 seconds in the 400 and close to 45 seconds in the mile.

Fried Seigrist Memorial Summer Classic:

Alissa Wang swam for us at our Age Group end season in Pleasant Hill. Alissa swam seven events over the two day meet. Alissa’s best swim was in her 100 yard breaststroke. She dropped a mind blowing 19 seconds. Overall, for the weekend Alissa dropped 63 seconds!!! That is an average of 9 seconds per race. She absolutely crushed it.
