Kristin Der had another tremendous meet at the CA/NV Speedo Sectionals Meet in San Diego!

There is a recurring theme when Kristin Der steps up the biggest meets of her career. She simply thrives on the opportunity to swim at this level.
In her first Short Course Sectionals meet back in December, Kristin traveled to La Mirada, Ca to represent Ruby Hill in the 50 Free/100 Back/200 Back. She dropped huge time in every event and made Finals in both the 100/200 Backstroke events. Just making finals was just the start as she dropped again in all of her Finals swims, picking up Team Records in 3 events and earning her first “Futures” time cut in the 100 Back!

As Kristin and Coach Todd travelled to San Diego for Spring Sectionals, Kristin picked up right where she left off by swimming an amazing 2:06.69 in Prelims which set up a Finals Swim. Stepping into finals, she dropped again with a fantastic 2:04.12 and earning her another “Futures” cut in the 200 Back.
